Position Summary
As a Warehouse Shift Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day coordination of warehouse operations, helping teams achieve operational goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Working closely with Shift Managers and Team Leaders, you'll contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse, encourage best practices, and help create a positive and collaborative working environment.

- Support the coordination of daily warehouse activities to help achieve operational targets and key performance indicators.
- Work alongside Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to ensure priorities and workload plans are clearly communicated and understood.
- Help maintain compliance with health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and audit requirements across the warehouse.
- Support the effective use of warehouse systems and processes to ensure efficient stock management and operational performance.
- Assist with maintaining high standards across loading, quality inspection processes, and warehouse housekeeping activities.
- Provide support and cover for Warehouse Shift Managers during planned or unplanned absences.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that help improve processes, safety, service, and team effectiveness.

Who You Are
- You have experience supporting or managing teams within a warehouse, logistics, or FMCG environment.
- You build positive working relationships and enjoy helping colleagues achieve shared goals.
- You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have experience using Microsoft Office applications and are comfortable learning and using warehouse management systems.
- You promote safe working practices and understand the importance of compliance, quality, and operational standards.
- You are confident supporting performance conversations, coaching colleagues, and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Experience working within a unionised environment, knowledge of employment practices, or formal leadership training would be advantageous but is not essential.
