YOUR ROLE
At CEVA Logistics, we believe that logistics is a people business. Our Contract Logistics Solution Design team plays a critical role in shaping innovative, efficient, and cost-effective warehousing solutions for both new and existing customers.
We are looking for a Solution Design Engineer to join our team based in Ashby de la Zouch, where you will take ownership of end-to-end solution design projects from data analysis and warehouse modelling through to costings, proposals, and implementation support.

Reporting into a Warehouse Solution Design Manager, you will provide detailed analytical support and engage in best practice solution design for new business propositions and contract renewals. Your main focuses of responsibility will be:

- Independently undertake projects from data analysis and warehouse modelling to the preparation of detailed costings using warehouse design tools.
- Support senior management in the development of proposals, producing tangible outcomes and contributing to key presentations.
- Preparing detailed costings, customer pricing models, and rate cards in collaboration with Business Development teams.
- Conducting solution reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure operational feasibility and alignment.
- Supporting the creation of compelling proposals and presentations, and presenting solutions to customers.
- Complete all design and analytical tasks in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Actively contribute to contract implementations and other off-site projects that requires solution design expertise.
This is a highly visible and varied role that will see you playing a pivotal part in designing and implementing warehousing solutions for our customers, the role requires a flexible approach to travel and on-site support, therefore you must hold a clean UK Driving License and be comfortable traveling across the UK and Ireland.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will already be operating in a solutions design role experienced in a wide range of projects with a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. You will have previously prepared warehouse layouts, analysed operational costs and be competent in using various modelling software, such as AutoCAD or equivalent as well as MS package. You will possess exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret and present complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to build strong working relationships with stakeholder groups and practiced in partnering with project management and business development teams.
