Warehouse Stores Manager

Are you an experienced Warehouse Stores Manager? Are you looking for your next career opportunity?

My rapidly expanding client based in High Wycombe are seeking a Warehouse Stores Manager to run their Stores department and manage the Stock control and purchasing aspect of the business.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Manager to oversee our inventory management processes within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving. This role is crucial for ensuring that stock levels are maintained efficiently and that all materials are handled properly to meet the demands of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Warehouse between 2 sites (located opposite each other)
  • Maintain records of stock levels and storage in both locations
  • Be responsible for company purchasing, monitor stock levels and raise PO numbers for suppliers, making sure records match at the end of the month
  • Perform stock checks for audits and clients when requested
  • Manage servicing of company vehicles keeping records updated
  • Ensuring all production lines are equipped with relevant materials required to perform their duties
  • Oversee the general facility management and maintenance of the factory including arranging subcontractors for works
  • Implement any ideas for possible improvements in the warehouse
  • Performing manual duties in the warehouse that could include picking/packing and fork lift operations
  • Driving company van to move stock between sites

Requirements

  • Previous Stock control experience is a must
  • Experience with Fork lift such as counter or Flexi
  • Excellent numeracy skills as in-house CRM is not currently in operation
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good computer skills
  • Full UK driving License
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Salary

£35k depending on experience

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (Can be flexible)
