Role Description The Warehouse / Stores Person role is a full-time, on-site position located in Deeside. The role involves receiving, checking, and storing goods, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper labeling. Daily tasks include picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and assisting with inventory counts. The Warehouse / Stores Person will also support internal and external customers by locating items, answering product-related queries, and coordinating with colleagues to keep materials flowing efficiently. Basic record-keeping, use of warehouse systems, and adherence to health and safety procedures are core aspects of the position.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Organization Skills and training experience to manage stock, maintain orderly storage areas, and support the onboarding of team members.
  • Experience in Retail Sales or a similar stock-handling environment, with an understanding of product handling and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse setting, including basic knowledge of health and safety practices and manual handling.
  • Comfort with basic computer use or warehouse management systems for logging stock and processing orders.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution role is beneficial but not essential.
