Warehouse Supervisor
Location: HM Prison Leyhill
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Salary: £33,500
Shift Pattern: Monday To Friday Working Hours (40 Hours Per Week)
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a Prison. You will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.
About the Role
HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
What Does the Role Entail?
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the Warehouse Operation (based onsite at the Prison)
- Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the Prisoners whilst they are at work
- Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as Prison rules and regulations
- Staff training and inductions
- Meeting and exceeding operational targets

What Do We Need From You?
- Previous experience leading, managing, or supervising a team
- IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
- Have a can-do attitude, right first time, and passionate approach
- Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role
