The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a warehouse operations team, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
You will play a key role in motivating your team, improving processes, and maintaining smooth operational performance across the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a warehouse operations team.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations.
- Delegate workloads effectively and manage team priorities.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, taking action where required.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members to reach their full potential.
- Identify training and development opportunities within the team.
- Promote and maintain excellent health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and enjoys leading from the front. You will have:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience within a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills, including experience using warehouse management systems.
- A proven ability to drive team performance and consistently achieve KPIs.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Flexibility Required
This operation runs all year round, with the exception of Christmas Day, to support business demand.
Successful applicants must be fully flexible regarding the shift patterns and hours they work. Shift allocations will be based on the operational requirements of the business, so a willingness to work a variety of shifts is essential.
