We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Please note that this site is due to be operational from October 2026.

Shift & Hours of Work

  • 4 days on, 4 days off - rolling shift
  • Working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs

Rate of Pay

  • £13.96

Responsibilities

  • Support in the control onsite inventory of all raw material and finished goods. Physical stock to be checked accurately and information fed to the site teams. Controlling stock rotation, stock movements, store temperature, and stock dwell times in line with the business' procedures.
  • Reconcile all RM & FG stocks daily on ERP, informing the relevant departments of any variances and ensuring actions are followed up accordingly. Support with period end stock counts and ensure the process is covered correctly.
  • Hold regular stock review meetings to ensure any variances are managed efficiently through ERP and to ensure that mis-picks and out-of-date stock are kept to a minimum.
  • Support the team to ensure the Freezer store, Dry goods store, Despatch store, Loading Bays, and Yard areas are kept to the expected standards for hygiene and housekeeping, ensuring that all machinery, forklift trucks, and equipment are kept clean and tidy.
  • Liaise daily with Production team leaders and Managers to ensure that their packing plans are in line with the loading priorities.
  • Inform Engineering of any mechanical issues, keeping the Intake and Despatch area and equipment in good working order is imperative to maintain an efficient operation.
  • Ensure all doors are fully operational and working as they should, to maintain temperature and pest control. Report any issues immediately to Engineering and Technical managers.
  • Support the Team Leader with refresher training for the wider team members when needed, and all training paperwork must be completed accurately and submitted to the HR and Training team promptly so the training matrix can be updated.
  • Support the Team Leader in overseeing the loading process throughout the day, ensuring efficient turnaround times are followed, liaise with Production and Supply Chain when required, keeping them informed of any issues relating to loading on time.
  • Ensure that all ERP-related processes are being carried out correctly by all teams.
  • Support in managing empty equipment - Dolavs, Trays, and Pallets shall be kept tidy and safe, always stacked in matching types, daily inspections of these areas and feedback to the team to correct any unsafe or mixed-up stacking etc must be carried out in a timely manner. Any equipment stored outside that requires to be covered must be managed appropriately.

  • Food Safety level 2 or above is advantageous
  • FLT & PPT Licence with previous experience within a warehouse environment
  • Able to communicate with all levels of staff effectively
  • Numerate and Literate
  • Team Player and ability to work from your own initiative
