The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join our Air Freight team, working at one of our busiest locations in Hounslow. You will lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and supporting the manager with employee performance and implementing process improvements.

This is a 4 on/4off, 18:00 - 06:00 shift pattern.
What Are You Going To Do?
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will take a key role in leading, motivating and supporting a team of warehouse operatives, creating a positive working environment where people feel supported, engaged and able to perform at their best. You’ll take a hands-on role in the day-to-day leadership of the warehouse operation, ensuring activities are carried out safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard, while supporting the wellbeing, development and performance of your team. You will drive efficiencies and continuous improvement, working closely with the wider operation to identify opportunities, develop practical solutions and ensure the warehouse remains operationally viable and commercially competitive. You will also support the Warehouse Manager with the development and growth of the operation, contributing to account plans, joint business plans and opportunities for organic growth.
A key part of the role will be managing the in-transit warehouse system, creating documentation, completing scanning activities and overseeing the accurate receipt and dispatch of freight. You’ll monitor performance against KPIs, resolve day-to-day issues and ensure colleagues follow the required SOPs, work instructions and mandatory training requirements. You will also have overall responsibility for maintaining high standards of Health, Safety, Compliance and Environmental practices, while working with the wider operation to identify opportunities, tailor solutions and deliver a warehouse service that is both operationally effective and commercially attractive.

Due to site and customer requirements, candidates must have been a resident in the UK for the past 5 years.
What Are We Looking For?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse operations, ideally within an air freight or logistics environment. Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor would be desirable. You’ll have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to remain effective and deliver results under pressure. You’ll also have a good working knowledge of warehouse systems, scanners and documentation processes, alongside a strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements. A valid MHE licence is also essential for the role.
