Warehouse Supervisor
An experienced Warehouse Supervisor is required to lead a high-volume outbound operation, managing a team of 50+ warehouse colleagues to deliver exceptional service, productivity, and operational performance. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, develop team capability, and play a key part in a fast-paced distribution environment with strong career progression prospects.

Our client is a well-established and highly successful distribution business operating within a fast-paced logistics environment. With a strong focus on operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement, they are looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a high-performing outbound operation.
Description
As Warehouse Supervisor based in Biggleswade, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a busy outbound warehouse function, managing a team of 50+ colleagues to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will drive performance, develop team capability, and support the delivery of key operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading daily warehouse operations to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets
- Managing and motivating a large operational team across picking, packing, and dispatch activities
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing actions to improve performance
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes
- Conducting team briefings and communicating operational priorities
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
- Managing attendance, performance, and employee relations matters
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and best practice
- Promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
- Supporting warehouse projects and business improvement initiatives
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability and a passion for developing people within a fast-paced logistics environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Manager, or Logistics Supervisor role
- Experience managing medium to large operational teams
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution processes
- A proven track record of driving productivity and operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing performance, absence, and employee relations matters
- A proactive and hands-on management style
- Good IT skills, including experience with warehouse management systems
- A commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement

- Monday to Friday
