About the Role
Are you an experienced team leader or supervisor, looking for a new challenge?
We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our wonderful charity based in Lacock, Wiltshire, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will make a crucial contribution to selling our donated items.
Helping the Scrapstore with stock in and out and ensuring all areas have what they need. You will react to fast-changing situations quickly and positively by creating a safe & productive working environment.
Each day is different in this varied, fast-paced, and hands-on role. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries, and donations, it is physically demanding, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to continue our environmental and charitable impacts.
Working as part of a team but also lone working, especially when delivering or collecting materials.

Pay
from £13.28 per hour
Hours
minimum 20 hours per week + paid overtime
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you’ll bring experience as a warehouse or stockroom team leader or supervisor.
- Stock management experience would be helpful, but is not essential
- Motivated, proactive, and happy to work as part of a team or independently
- Good organisational skills and a supportive approach to leading others
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with volunteers would be a bonus, but is not essential
- Confident working with members of the public, and the ability to maintain good relationships with other Scrapstores and our suppliers
- Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on environment where priorities can change
- Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the organisation
- Comfortable with regular hands-on manual work, including moving larger items and volumes of stock
Due to the nature of the job, a full driving license is required. To use company vehicles, applicants must be over 25 years of age and have held a full driving license for a minimum of 2 years for insurance purposes.

Wiltshire Scrapstore is an award-winning environmental and community charity (charity no. 1077193) situated on the outskirts of Lacock. We collect resources that would otherwise go to landfill and then are repurposed for creative activities and projects of all kinds, from arts and crafts to DIY across the county and beyond!
Wiltshire Scrapstore headquarters can be found at Bowden Hill, Lacock, and we also have a social enterprise shop, Barty’s Little Eco Shop, in Lacock village itself.
