Shifts available: Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 and Mon-Fri 14:00-22:00

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring freight moves safely, accurately and on time through our busy warehouse operation. You will lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, coordinate daily activities and help deliver the service, reliability and operational excellence our customers depend on.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in developing people while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and support a team of Warehouse Operatives during your allocated shift
  • Ensure inbound and outbound freight is unloaded, scanned, sorted and loaded accurately and on time
  • Allocate labour and equipment to meet changing operational demands
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and workflow to achieve operational targets
  • Complete shift handovers and communicate operational priorities clearly
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and help resolve challenges quickly
  • Maintain excellent warehouse housekeeping and security standards
  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
  • Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, scanning compliance, freight accuracy and on-time departures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service and efficiency
  • Deliver coaching, training and day-to-day support to team members
  • Promote a positive, accountable and collaborative working environment

About You

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics or cross-dock operation
  • Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating operational teams
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and freight handling
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to Health & Safety, quality and operational excellence

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience within international freight, transport or pallet network operations
  • MHE licence
  • IOSH Working Safely or a similar Health & Safety qualification
  • Experience supporting operational improvement projects
