Goods In & Stores Supervisor – Sutton-in-Ashfield - Competitive Salary
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting an established manufacturer in Sutton-in-Ashfield who is looking to recruit a Goods In & Stores Supervisor to join their growing team.
The Goods In & Stores Supervisor supports the daily operation of the stores and goods-in functions, ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to support production. The role covers supervising stores staff, maintaining stock accuracy, and upholding high standards of organisation, safety, and operational performance.
Working Hours / Benefits:
- 7:30am - 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) & 7:30am - 12:30pm (Friday)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off

The Role
- Supervise and motivate stores staff, overseeing receipt, inspection, and accurate booking-in of deliveries
- Ensure materials, components, and consumables are stored safely and efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory records
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and delivery issues, conducting regular stock counts and audits
- Ensure timely and accurate issue of materials to production, liaising with production, purchasing, and planning teams on stock requirements
- Train, coach, and support staff, maintaining stores standards for cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements, preparing reports and updates for management
