Warehouse Supervisor - Night shift

Location - Hounslow

Hours: Tues - Sat 01.00hrs - 10.00hrs

Salary: £28874.40

We're Hiring! Operations Supervisor for 40 hours a week.

We are looking for a Night Shift Supervisor to come and join the team that share our passion and drive to delight our customers. We are looking for someone to own the Night Shift and drive the warehouse a 5-day work week with competitive pay. Our Night shift typically runs any 5 out of 7 days.

Our Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Our Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor is a key role working with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day operation in our Depot where you will lead teams of Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites into smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer.

We need Professionals who can motivate, manage and where necessary discipline a diverse workforce to get the best out of them. You will also talent manage and develop your team so that as promotion and more senior roles become available you have the talent to build your team.

Interested?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are hit for the day shift
  • Process MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders
  • Managing all areas of the day operations, sortation and transportation in an efficient cost-effective manner.
  • People Management – recruitment / inductions and ongoing performance and attendance management, submission of daily debrief with drivers and weekly reports required.
  • Compliance – Legalities, Management of domestic driving hours (breaks/length of shifts/rest periods). Additional support on all driver compliance in depots
  • Resourcing – effective utilisation of rosters.

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
  • Experience of managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is a definite advantage
  • PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Transport knowledge, skills or experience including regulations
  • Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
  • Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements
