Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a well-established business based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations while supervising one warehouse operative. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting one warehouse team member.
  • Managing daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Picking and preparing palletised orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading goods using a Counterbalance FLT.
  • Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records.
  • Working with a range of raw materials and ingredients, ensuring products are correctly identified, handled, stored, and picked.
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
  • Experience handling stock, raw materials, ingredients, or similar products.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between different product types and specifications.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example.
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to work.

Working Hours

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. However, flexibility is required as occasional earlier starts and later finishes may be needed to meet business demands.
