We are now looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join our dedicated team in Erith, London (DA18 4AF).
In this key operational role, you will oversee the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, ensuring safe, accurate and high quality service across both inbound and outbound operations.
This role offers a salary of £45,212.19 per annum, working Monday evening to Saturday morning (22:00–06:30).

The Role
This is a hands on supervisory position where you’ll lead the day to day warehouse operation across key customer contracts. You’ll ensure compliance through regular checks and Health & Safety audits, deliver against customer KPIs, manage absence and on site issues, and support people processes including interviews, probations, welfare checks and disciplinaries. You’ll also carry out operational control checks, spot check vehicles and maintain strong warehouse and site security.

Main Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate resources in line with customer demand and volume
- Oversee safe handling of products throughout inbound and outbound processes
- Ensure goods are handled correctly to minimise damage and follow manual handling guidelines
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks to support warehouse performance
- Communicate issues or deviations promptly to the Senior Manager
- Maintain high standards of customer service and communication
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including PPE requirements
- Deliver Health & Safety briefings when required
- Monitor equipment checks and ensure follow up actions are completed
- Report near misses, incidents and accidents in line with company processes
- Conduct disciplinary and grievance meetings in accordance with policy
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership skills with experience organising and leading a shift
- Experience in disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment
- Able to have ''difficult'' conversations and mentor colleagues to achieve their potential
- Ability to follow and deliver company procedures
- Experience in white goods operations is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively within both the immediate team and wider operation
- Flexibility to meet operational needs
- Experience using WMS systems
- Previous warehouse supervisory experience is essential
- Awareness of manual handling techniques (beneficial)
- MHE licence (beneficial)
- Good standard of general education with strong written and verbal English
- Confident in literacy, numeracy and MS systems including Excel and Outlook
