We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Leeds Solar Hub, working a Monday to Friday, starting between 07:30 - 09:00.

Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be supporting the Hub Manager by taking ownership of the team and productivity within the Solar Hub, ensuring that operational targets and SLA's are met, Site Health & Safety is upheld, and any team escalations are dealt with.

You will supervise about 2-3 operatives within the solar operation, so ideally, you will have team lead or supervision experience from a Logistics/Distribution background. You will have great stock management knowledge and be able to effectively communicate across different stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s
  • Allocating workload, managing priorities, and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines
  • Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors, and ensuring orders are packed correctly
  • Coaching team members on processes, safe working, and best practice to improve performance
  • Ensuring goods are handled, stored, and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity
  • Maintaining warehouse Health & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping
  • Supporting stock accuracy through checks, investigations, and basic inventory control tasks
  • Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable)
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service/transport/branch teams) to resolve issues quickly
  • Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers, and External agency support

  • Proven background and knowledge of warehouse operations, ideally in a supervisory position
  • Great communication skills across all different levels
  • Good Warehouse & Logistics Health & Safety knowledge
  • Proficiency with IT systems
