Warehouse Supervisor Opportunity in Castle Donington, Leicestershire
Our client is a market-leading 3PL logistics business with around 61 logistics sites across the world (in Europe, USA and the Far-East). You will be joining a fast-paced environment in a logistics hub around 150k sq.ft. of pallet and racking space with circa 60 colleagues across warehousing and transport.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will report into the Warehouse Operations Manager on a daily basis and will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility within the Castle Donington, Leicestershire site.
- Managing around 10-20 colleagues on a days shift pattern across Monday to Friday.
- Responsible for a warehouse of over 150k sq.ft. with a vast E-Commerce operation and large throughput of luxury and high-end goods.
- Responsible for the management of 15x Warehouse Colleagues, 1x Inventory Coordinator, and a Contract & Customer Service Administrator.
- Full shift responsibility, alongside achieving target KPIs and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery.
- Motoring productivity targets alongside customer service excellence.
- Review processes to identify improvements and lead change initiatives.
- Lead talent reviews and management for succession planning.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Warehouse Supervisor will have an expansive background in warehousing operations and will have the following skills & experience:

- 3+ years' experience managing warehousing operations.
- Experience managing in a small 3PL warehouse of circa 10-20 colleagues.
- Forklift - reach & counterbalance qualified.
- Desirable - SAP and/or Manhattan WMS experience.
- Ideally NEBOSH / IOSH qualified.
- Commutable to Castle Donington, Leicestershire on a daily basis.
