Warehouse Supervisor
Cooneen Group is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our Managed Service Centre in Wrexham. The successful candidate will help lead a small, friendly team of operatives, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Supervise and support warehouse operatives, allocating workload and monitoring performance.
- Promote a safe, productive working environment and ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Assist with goods-in, goods-out, stock movements and loading/unloading of vehicles.
- Update and maintain warehouse records, shipping documentation and system data, including PRIMA.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with reporting, issue resolution and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
- Implement improvements which have been agreed with your Manager.
- Support an environment in which people feel comfortable to share information, learning and knowledge within the design team and across the wider business.
- Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager and the overall objectives of the organisation.

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team.
- Experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and warehouse-related IT systems.
- Current DBS Vetting Check, or willingness to undertake a check.

Desirable Criteria
- GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
- Experience of PRIMA or a similar warehouse/order management system.
- Valid Forklift Truck or Telehandler Licence.
- Experience managing warehouse operations involving similar product volumes.
- Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles.
