Manning Global, an Internationally renowned staffing and managed services organization specializing in providing staffing solutions for leading corporations in AI, IT & Telecoms, Engineering, Digital Media, Automotive, and Renewable Energy, is recruiting for Warehouse Supervisors (Shift Lead) on behalf of one of their blue-chip international clients to join their organization in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Logistics team Health, Safety, and Fire Management.
- Leading the warehouse floor on all fronts and leading the team day-to-day.
- Processing all Inbound/Outbound Delivery and organizing the recycling process.
- Paperwork Administration and Floor Management.
- Training & Coordinating teams/members and Support Performance Management.
- Ops & Logistics
- Support the WM to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence with inbound, outbound, recycling, and assuring quality of goods throughout the warehouse.
- Oversee stock control including counting, processing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Produce accurate reports to the WM of the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
- Strategize with the WM and prioritize duties, ensuring service levels and deadlines are achieved, operation runs in line with plans, and tasks are completed on schedule to meet KPIs.
- Monitor/control the supply of packaging items to thereby ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day distribution.
- Lead the team to help organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Lead and communicate job expectations to coach the employees in the warehouse on a daily basis.
- Report back on daily operation efficiency and recommend staffing levels and optimization to the Warehouse Manager.
- Interface with the team on a daily basis, answering any questions, solving problems, and then reporting back to the WM if anything is of high importance.
- Ensure all documentation and reports are kept in neat and orderly fashion.
- Support the WM in Warehouse innovation and adjustments to best improve the business flow.
- Ensure all picking and loading is adhered to by company standards.
- Lead from the front on Health, Safety, and Fire in accordance with the Client quality system.
- Lead from the front on all warehouse compliance to all critical operational activity.
- Assist with administrative support to the office and warehouse teams by organizing and processing paperwork, documents, and computer-based information.
- Ensure that all new starters are fully trained and inducted into the business correctly, following all training steps set out by the People Team.
- Support the WM with full performance management, grievance, and disciplinary issues and procedures.

- Support
- Motivate and encourage team members at all times.
- To cover all Line Management responsibilities as advised and communicated by the HR Team.
- Developing members of your team through successful induction, training, and mentorship.
- Co-ordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of Client employees, ensuring daily performance targets are achieved.
- Deliver & promote culture which encourages and develops direct reports in line with company policies and procedures.
- Support the WM with all people management in the warehouse; holiday, probations, PDRs, and ensure all personal growth opportunities are maintained and acted upon.
- To assist with covering the responsibilities of other members of the team in their absence.
- To take pride in personal appearance reflecting the Client brand.
- To take responsibility for own health, safety, and wellbeing; and that of visitors and other employees; ensuring compliance with Client’s Health and Safety policy, procedures, and safe systems of work.
- To be responsible for own behavior and acting in a manner that avoids and discourages any form of discrimination or harassment.
- To ensure full compliance with all Client policies.
- To willingly carry out any other duties that are within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role and Client as an organization.

Requirement to work AM and PM shifts based on business needs.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Computer literacy.
- IFS cloud and Microsoft 365.
- Warehouse management experience.
- Someone experienced, not necessarily in our sector.
- Fresh ideas to keep improving.
- Someone with experience managing shifts would be a plus with the incoming second shift.
- Good leadership experience.
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns to suit the business needs.
- Proven success promoting new ideas within the warehouse operation.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Positive attitude (can-do mentality).
- Forklift Trained.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
