Are you a night owl with a passion for systems and problem-solving? This night shift Warehouse Systems Admin role puts you at the heart of operations, working with WMS, SQL reporting, and hands-on IT hardware support to keep the site running smoothly overnight.

Here at GXO, we are on the lookout for Warehouse Systems Administrators to join our team at our Wellingborough site, supporting our customer, VMO2. You will provide first line support to the operation in dealing with a range of system and process related issues.

This is a full time, permanent position and working any 5 out of 7 nights between the hours of 22:00 – 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the operation with system issues and technical knowledge
  • Escalate issues to correct teams, that cannot be resolved in-house
  • Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions
  • Resolve queries highlighted from the operation and the customer
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support Systems related projects.
  • Complete and build new or one-off reports as required by the operation and the customer

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Demonstrable high-level experience with WMS, including DLX/RP
  • Proficient in SQL or Jasper report writing
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level of general IT knowledge, including radio data terminals, printers and PCs
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A reasonable understanding of MS PowerBI reporting tools
