Warehouse Team Lead

Our client is recruiting a Warehouse Team Lead to support the continued growth of its new foodservice distribution facility in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will supervise evening and night shift warehouse operations, lead and develop teams, and help drive high standards of safety, accuracy, productivity and customer service.

Based near Nutts Corner, County Antrim, this role offers the opportunity to work in a modern facility while contributing to an expanding operation. Flexibility around start and finish times is required to meet business needs, providing variety and close involvement with day to day warehouse performance.

The Role

  • Supervise order selectors, loaders, forklift operators and other warehouse employees.
  • Monitor production, overtime, absences, attendance and truck departures.
  • Ensure products are selected, loaded, handled and dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Coach, train and develop employees while supporting safety and productivity standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse in line with HACCP standards.
  • Complete operational reports and maintain warehouse records.

The Person

  • Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures, ideally within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, motivational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience building and developing effective teams.
  • Flexibility regarding start and finish times, with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
