PLEASE NOTE: This role is based inside a prison and involves working alongside serving offenders. You will be required to pass enhanced security vetting as part of the recruitment process.

This isn't a standard warehouse role. At DHL Supply Chain, we run warehouse operations inside prisons supporting the HMPPS Canteen Service. This service allows offenders to use their own money to buy approved items such as food, toiletries, and everyday essentials — with our teams responsible for picking, packing, and distributing these orders within the prison.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Work inside a prison, leading and working alongside offenders in a warehouse
  • Hands-on role - picking, packing, and manual handling (up to 20kg)
  • Keep stock accurate and the operation running smoothly
  • Work at pace when needed and stay organised
  • Working as a team to make sure targets are met

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
