Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our NHS Supply Chain site based in Maidstone. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, leading and developing your team, and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional results for our customer.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 to 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £31,800 + 30% night shift allowance per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:
- Plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs, resulting in high-performance levels and the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to the customer
- Manage a team of direct line reports including delivering team member performance review, development, and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
- Ensure compliance with Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and safe systems of work
What You Need to Succeed at GXO:
- Good organizational skills
- Previous experience of leading and managing a team
- Good interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Capable of driving mechanical handling equipment
