We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our BAE Systems team at our site in Samlesbury. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 pm - 06:00 am.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,681.44 per annum, and 32 days annual leave inclusive bank holidays. - You’ll operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse
- Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace
- Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift
- Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety
- Experience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment
- The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
