Role Summary
To take the lead of the Stores area when the Shift Supervisor is not present & assist the Shift Supervisor as and when required to complete day to day business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the other team members with their usual roles and be the one to make decisions should any occurrences arise.
- Influence and assist the Shift Supervisor with leading the team.
- Unloading and loading of vehicles and using forklift / hand truck.
- Monthly Finished Goods stock counts and inventory checks.
- Checking and receipting goods inwards using In-house computer system.
- Ensuring goods conform to standard and paperwork is reflective of what is being received and adhere to specification.
- Putting away and labelling stock into Warehouse locations.
- Preparing orders for Despatching to customers.
- Supporting the training of team members to SOP’s.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement to warehouse processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
- Must be physically fit with good manual handling skills.
- FLT experienced preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of quality systems eg ISO9001 and KPI’s plus experience in a quality inspection environment preferable.
- Understand and creation of SOP’s.
- Observant and keen eye for detail.
- Manufacturing / electrical component knowledge preferred.
