Job Description

We are looking for a confident, hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy storage and distribution operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being visible on the warehouse floor, supporting colleagues day to day and helping to keep a safe, efficient and well-organised operation running smoothly.

In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

This is not a purely office-based role. You will be responsible for supporting a small team of four colleagues, spending the majority of your time on the shop floor while also completing essential admin, compliance checks and safe and legal processes.

This is a full-time, permanent position working on a rotating Days and Nights 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00

Salary: £14.80 per hour

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, support and motivate a small warehouse team to deliver daily operational targets.
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor and work closely with colleagues on the shop floor to keep the operation running safely and efficiently.
  • Manage a busy loading and unloading schedule to ensure operation runs smoothly.
  • Complete safe and legal checks, compliance activity and any required paperwork accurately.
  • Support a palletised storage and distribution operation where forklift activity plays a key part.
  • Promote high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and operational discipline.
  • Help ensure stock is handled, moved and stored safely in line with company procedures.
  • Act as a visible point of support for colleagues, escalating issues when required.
  • Assist with wider warehouse duties and operational priorities as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
