Here at GXO, we’re looking for Warehouse Team Leaders to join our growing site in Selby, with a new contract to the site. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll lead, coach and support a team of colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality warehouse performance.
This is a full‑time, permanent role, with working hours of either 4 on 4 6am to 6pm (Days) or 6pm to 6am (Nights) – your preference of shift can be discussed at interview.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,283 per annum (nights allowance added for night shifts) and 23 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily KPI targets.
- Manage and monitor an effective warehouse operation ensuring SOP compliance is adhered to with all functions.
- Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
- Make sure all discrepancies are reported through the appropriate channels & maintain KPI records.
- Coaching and feedback on individual performance & ensure staff are trained to carry out duties to the required level.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience leading teams in a warehouse or fast‑paced operational environment.
- Strong communication and people‑leadership skills.
- Good working knowledge of warehouse processes and Health & Safety standards.
- Excellent WMS systems knowledge & Stock experience would be an advantage.
- A hands‑on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
