The Lockwood Group

The Lockwood Group is a dynamic, forward-thinking, family-run business established in 1965. Today, we employ over 400 people across eight UK sites. Our group activities include UK transport, distribution and storage, frozen food production, and co-packing solutions.

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader to be based at our Denby site.

Previous warehouse experience is essential, ideally with supervisory experience. The successful candidate will have good IT skills, be self-motivated, and able to work on their own initiative. As part of the role, there will be periods of independent working, with responsibility for completing office and computer-based administrative tasks alongside warehouse operations.

About The Role

This is a permanent night shift position, working Monday to Friday.

The salary starts from £12.71 per hour, with an additional 50p per hour uplift for VNA/Shunting trained operatives, plus a £50.00 Team Leader bonus, paid weekly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
