This is a hands-on role where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, motivate colleagues and ensure productivity, loading accuracy and service standards consistently meet customer and company expectations.

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees.

Salary

  • £38,763 per annum

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team, maintaining high standards of discipline, productivity, accuracy, and performance.
  • Deliver daily operational targets, including despatch deadlines, delivery requirements, loading accuracy, and agreed KPIs.
  • Coordinate training and compliance, ensuring colleagues remain qualified in loading procedures, FLT, PPT, and manual handling, with retraining arranged when required.
  • Champion health and safety by enforcing procedures, reporting hazards, incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensuring defective MHE is isolated and reported correctly.
  • Maintain quality and hygiene standards, including housekeeping, inbound trailer temperature checks, and compliance with BRC and HACCP processes.
  • Control warehouse activity by following outbound load plans, escalating issues promptly, and identifying improvements that reduce errors and increase productivity.
  • Manage day-to-day people matters, including holiday approvals, shift cover, timekeeping, absence monitoring, timesheets, conduct, and performance concerns.
  • Build effective working relationships with operations, HR, other departments, and sites to support a joined-up, efficient service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
