Role Title: Warehouse Team Member / FLT Driver

Salary: £25,977.33

Working Hours: Day shift Monday – Friday 37 hours per week.

  • 8am to 17:15 Monday to Thursday (green period)
  • 7:45am - 17:15pm Monday -Thursday and 7am-15:00 Friday (red period)
  • 8am-17:15pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 1pm Friday (yellow period)

Location: Canal Street, South Wigston, LE18 4PQ

What will this role achieve?

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Member / FLT Driver to join our team. Your main responsibility is to ensure that the pallets going out are clearly labelled and meet requirements and dealing with in-perfect products.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Ensuring the pallets from assortments are labelled and ready to be dispatched to Midlands Distribution Centre for distribution.
  • Ensure that in-perfect product is recorded and dispatched correctly.
  • Working on an automated wrapping machine.
  • Support the production plan effectively with quality being the priority.
  • Lead health and safety standards within the area to ensure all work safely.
  • Deliver products to the defined standard specifications.
  • Deliver the Warehouse plan to maintain customer service levels.
  • Show good communication skill.
  • Physical role – walking around the factories/office/warehouse.
  • General ad-hoc Warehouse duties.

Bring your experience

Essential

  • Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices, HACCP, and safety at work procedures.
  • Show a willingness to work in a team environment and own a positive attitude to change.
  • Be able to multitask and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiative.
  • We’re looking for people who are flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Support is available to help you succeed.
  • Maintain high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Desirable

  • Counterbalance and PPT licence will be provided if required.
  • Understand zonal Key Performance Indicators.

What does the recruitment process consist of?

  • Assessments: Error Checking Aptitude and a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 60 minutes to complete.
  • Interview: 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.

If you’re an internal member of staff, depending on your current job role, you may not be required to complete all of the assessments.
