Role Description

The Warehouse & Technical Operative is a full-time, on-site role based in Pershore, responsible for supporting the storage, movement, and preparation of equipment and materials for customer installations. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and unloading deliveries, checking and organizing stock, packing and preparing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role also involves basic technical setup of devices such as printers and telephone equipment, assisting with configuration, testing, and quality checks before dispatch. The operative will help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment, follow health and safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to meet service deadlines and support customer requirements.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking deliveries against documentation and managing inbound and outbound goods.
  • Candidates should possess Packing and Material Handling skills to safely prepare, package, and move equipment and supplies.
  • Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills to track stock levels, conduct counts, and support accurate record-keeping.
  • Candidates should possess Unloading skills, including safe use of handling equipment and adherence to manual handling guidelines.
  • Basic technical aptitude for setting up and testing devices such as printers and telecom equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow procedures and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or technical support environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
