We're hiring: Warehouse & Stores Operative — DWG Infraco 📦
£15–£20/hr · Part-time, 3 days a week · Loughborough
Want to be the person who keeps a fast-growing engineering business moving? This could be the one.
DWG Infraco is a family-owned, UK-leading engineering company that's spent 15 years bringing failing infrastructure back to life through ground engineering, resin injection and asset preservation that keep the nation's critical assets safe and reliable. We also run DWG Rescue, our high-risk confined space rescue division, and a rail products division serving clients globally. Our Loughborough warehouse is the engine room behind it all and we're after an experienced, forklift-licensed operative who can hit the ground running 3 days a week.
You'd work across both sides of our warehouse: picking and packing equipment for site work with our project crews, and palletising our life-extension rail products for shipping out to customers. No two days are the same, and you'll even get out to site now and then to see how the kit you handle is really used — the kind of insight that helps you do the job smarter.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
