Role Description
The Warehouse Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Basildon, responsible for supporting the preparation and movement of technology equipment for corporate events. Day-to-day tasks include receiving shipments, unloading and organizing incoming equipment, and preparing outbound orders according to event specifications. The role involves packing and labeling technology items securely, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing regular stock checks. The Warehouse Technician will handle materials safely, assist with loading and dispatch, and ensure that all equipment is stored, tracked, and ready for timely delivery. This position works closely with warehouse and logistics teams to meet deadlines and uphold quality and safety standards.

- Experience in shipping and receiving operations, including processing incoming and outgoing orders and verifying documentation.
- Proficiency in packing and material handling, with the ability to secure and move technology equipment safely.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, including stock counting, recording, and basic inventory system use.
- Background in unloading deliveries and organizing warehouse spaces in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to follow workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and equipment care.
- Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management or inventory software is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment and stand for extended periods, in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or event technology experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
