About The Role
As a Warehouse Trainer (known locally as Training Coordinator), you'll be responsible for leading and delivering training activities across our warehousing operation. This is not a desk-based coordination role. You'll be actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of learning, supporting new starters through their induction journey, coaching colleagues on the warehouse floor, and ensuring our teams have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform at their best.
Working closely with operational leaders and subject matter experts, you'll identify training needs, develop engaging learning solutions, deliver practical and classroom-based training, and evaluate learning outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, colleague development, and continuous improvement across the site.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm, with flexibility to meet operational requirements.
How Will You Contribute
- Lead the delivery of all training activities across the Hinckley operation, acting as a visible and approachable learning ambassador.
- Deliver engaging classroom, workshop, and on-the-job training sessions that equip colleagues with the skills needed to succeed.
- Design and implement practical, floor-based training plans that support onboarding, operational requirements, new business launches, and employee development.
- Coach and support colleagues directly within the warehouse environment, providing real-time guidance and feedback.
- Create engaging learning content and training materials using effective instructional design principles.
- Continuously review, update, and improve training resources to ensure they remain relevant, impactful, and aligned to operational needs.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to identify current and future capability gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Monitor training effectiveness through completion rates, KPI tracking, learner feedback, and operational performance measures.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and development through innovative and engaging learning approaches.

What You Will Bring
- Experience delivering training within a fast-paced operational, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environment.
- A passion for developing people and the confidence to coach, influence, and engage learners at all levels.
- Experience facilitating both classroom-based and practical, hands-on training sessions in the workplace.
- Strong understanding of learning and development principles and the ability to translate training needs into effective learning solutions.
- Experience designing structured training plans and development programmes.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining training records and reporting on learning activity and outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
- Relevant training, learning and development, education, or coaching qualifications, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make learning engaging, accessible, and impactful.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond quickly to changing operational priorities.
