Are you passionate about supporting local communities and helping deliver high-quality, sustainable food? We are one of Europe’s leading food processing companies, and we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team in Sawley, near Gisburn!

The successful candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional quality for our customers. Working within the Despatch Team, this role reports to the Boning Hall Manager. Working hours are afternoon into evening from 3.15pm to 11.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Previous food manufacturing experience is beneficial, not essential, and full training will be given to the successful candidate. Enthusiastic and friendly personality, who considers themselves a team player. Holding a FLT Licence would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking, scanning, lifting, loading and despatching customer orders accurately and in line with daily despatch requirements.
  • Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Moving pallets and products to the correct locations, ensuring all movements are scanned and recorded accurately.
  • Wrapping, labelling and securing pallets to ensure product stability and safe transport.
  • Using the internal stock system to process stock, monitor stock levels and allocate products to customer orders.
  • Processing customer paperwork accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • Processing returned stock from customers in accordance with site procedures.
  • Liaising with relevant departments, including Logistics, Commercial, Transport and the Coldstore, to support the timely despatch of customer orders.
  • Carrying out all tasks in a helpful and professional manner.
  • Undertaking any reasonable additional duties requested by Supervisors or Managers to support operational standards.
