Function Description

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse and goods-in operations at their East Grinstead facility. This role is responsible for the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient inventory management and logistics processes within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and book incoming goods into the inventory management system.
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations, including hazardous storage areas where required.
  • Pick, prepare, and return stock for operational and repackaging activities.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy investigations.
  • Prepare and label shipments in accordance with transport regulations and company procedures.
  • Support export shipment preparation and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Safely handle chemical products and materials in line with established procedures.
  • Maintain warehouse records and inventory data.
  • Operate warehouse equipment following appropriate training.
  • Adhere to all health & safety, quality, environmental, and security requirements.

Profile

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, goods-in/goods-out, logistics, or materials handling environment.
  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good computer skills and ability to work with inventory management systems.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a regulated environment.
