About The Role

Pertemps Northampton is seeking Warehouse/Assembly Operatives for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Flore. The hourly rate is £12.80, rising to £14.00 upon permanent placement. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a 10-minute paid break. Duties involve picking and packing products using lists and preparing e-commerce orders. Reliability and attention to detail are essential. Applicants need their own transport or local residence, as the site is in a rural NN7 area. The role begins on 1st September 2026, offering consistent early-shift work.

Warehouse Operative – Temp-to-Perm

Location: Rural Village, NN7 area (Must have own transport or live locally)

Pay Rate: £12.80, progressing to £14.00 per hour when permanent

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

About The Role

We are recruiting a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join a premier automotive detailing and surface care distribution facility based in the NN7 area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone seeking consistent early-shift hours within a fast-paced fulfilment environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking & Packing: Accurately pick premium surface care and detailing products using picking lists.
  • E-Commerce Fulfilment: Prepare, pack, and label orders to Amazon seller/fulfilment standards.
  • Kitting & Assembly: Assemble product kits into boxed sets with high attention to detail and presentation.
  • Stock Handling: General warehouse maintenance, stock organisation, and manual handling (maximum lifting weight up to 10 kg).

Requirements

  • Transport: Due to the rural village location in the NN7 postal area, reliable personal transport or living within walking distance is essential, as public transport links are limited for a 7:00 am start.
  • Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English is essential to follow safety instructions and complete hands-on operational training.
  • Availability: Must be able to start in September and commit fully to the initial 3-month training window (no pre-planned holiday leave can be taken during the first 3 months of onboarding).
  • Work Ethic: Strong attendance, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail when handling high-quality goods.
