About The Role
Pertemps Manchester is recruiting a Warehouse/Production Operative for a pillow production and warehouse operation in Bolton. This temporary position offers £12.71 per hour for a 45-hour week, scheduled from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Your duties will involve supporting production lines, preparing materials, and undertaking various general warehouse tasks. The role is ongoing, suited to those seeking consistent, long-term work. We seek individuals with excellent attendance, a reliable nature, and a solid work ethic. About the Role
We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation in Bolton.
You will be working as part of a team within a pillow production and warehouse environment, supporting with production, preparation, and a variety of general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team within the pillow production area.
- Assisting with the production and preparation of pillows.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
- Following instructions from supervisors and management.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Working efficiently to meet production and client requirements.
- Moving between different duties when required.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Working positively and effectively as part of a team.
Working Hours & Breaks
Working hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- 15-minute morning break
- 45-minute afternoon break
Total: 45 hours per week
Requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Need To
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to regular attendance.
- Be comfortable working as part of a team.
- Be flexible and willing to carry out a variety of warehouse duties.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to speak and understand good English, as clear communication is essential.
- Be physically capable of carrying out warehouse and production duties.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

PPE Requirements
Standard PPE must be worn while working on site.
Candidates Must Have
- High-visibility jacket
- Safety boots
Ear protection will be available on site where required.
Induction
All successful candidates will complete a 30-minute induction on their first day.
The induction will include a tour of the workplace and cover:
- Role requirements
- Health and safety procedures
- Site rules
- Workplace information
- Other site-specific requirements
Progression Opportunities
This is an ongoing position with genuine opportunities to develop and progress.
Candidates who consistently demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn may have the opportunity to progress into a Machine Operator position and develop additional skills and responsibilities.
