Job Description

This vacancy involves all aspects dealing with a huge range of car parts and accessories for customers and suppliers. Predominantly working in the warehouse picking and packing parts and receiving goods in/out. Preparing customer orders. Serving onsite customers and processing orders and taking calls for customer enquiries via site office.

What you'll do at work

• Picking and Packing of products ready for customers despatch
• Dealing with customer sales at the trade counter and via telephone.
• Communicating with internal and external customers face to face and via telephone
• Dealing with stock control and dispatch
• Taking delivery of goods involving basic administration
• Learning and gaining knowledge of products
• Processing customer orders
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
• General cleanliness and maintenance of stores
• Any duties as required by your supervisor/manager

• Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.

• Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
• Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
• Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
• Support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
• Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
• Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
• Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
• Carry out and record learning and development activities.
• Conduct handover activities.
