About The Job

Games Workshop is looking for an experienced Retail and Events Manager in Nottingham to lead the Warhammer World Store and Events teams, managing 24 people and leading the team responsible for sales, events, and the Warhammer World customer experience.

Warhammer World is not an ordinary retail environment, and this is not an ordinary management role. Your job is simple to describe, but challenging to deliver: lead the people and operations delivering a great experience for everyone visiting Warhammer World.

  • You’ll lead a large team that won’t always be working together in the same place, so clear plans, good communication, and a collaborative approach will be important.
  • You’ll help your team understand what they are working towards, give them the support and development they need to succeed, and create an environment where everyone can contribute to giving our customers a great experience.
  • A big part of your role will be improving staff performance. You’ll review, coach, and develop your team, helping them build the skills and behaviors they need to succeed. You’ll keep standards high, recognize when something needs to change, and take action when it does.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

To do that well, you’ll need to be organized, adaptable, and confident leading a large team in a busy environment. You’ll keep people focused, support your staff, and make sure customers continue to have a great experience.

If you want to lead the team that helps make Warhammer World such a special place for our customers, we’d love to hear from you.
