Are you an experienced Warranty Specialist ready to make a difference?

At Wickes, our purpose is to create an experience beyond the everyday for our colleagues and customers. We’re looking for a passionate and methodical Warranty Specialist to join our Installations Central Operations team in Northampton.

If you are a self-starter who thrives on solving problems and delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the Resolution: You will manage customer kitchen and bathroom warranty cases from start to finish, ensuring every issue is resolved to our high standards.
  • Investigating & Planning: You’ll conduct thorough investigations, liaising with stakeholders to agree on a clear plan of action.
  • Delivering Quality: By understanding our workmanship guarantees and product warranties, you’ll provide consistent solutions, preventing unnecessary escalations.
  • Communicating: Whether by phone or email, you’ll keep our customers informed and provide clear updates, always handling difficult conversations with fairness and empathy.
  • Coordinating: You’ll evaluate the work required and arrange for remedial installers through our corrective action process.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year working in a Warranty or Aftersales environment.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a pacey approach to work.
  • Customer Focus: You have excellent customer service skills and can influence outcomes while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Expertise: Solid administration experience and confidence in using Google Docs.
  • The Wickes Spirit: You are a fantastic communicator, a tenacious self-starter, and you take pride in protecting both the business and the customer.
  • Location: This role is based at our Distribution centre in Northampton and requires on site working 3 days a week.
