Essential Requirements
- Current Plant Solid Waste Coordinator SQEP
- Knowledge of radioactive waste packaging, transport, and disposability assessment processes.
- Applicable experience working on nuclear waste management projects within nuclear site environment.
- Thorough understanding of site waste management arrangements, processes, routes, and governance requirements.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging effectively with operations, engineering, waste management, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to provide informed advice, drawing on site and plant experience to influence project decisions and optimise waste outcomes.
- Strong communication and technical authoring skills, including the production and review of waste management documentation and technical justifications.

Desirable Requirements
- Demonstrable plant-based experience, with a strong understanding of operational challenges and interfaces within nuclear facilities.
- Ability to challenge established approaches and identify pragmatic, innovative waste solutions while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of waste hierarchy principles and opportunities for waste minimisation, segregation, characterisation, treatment, and disposal.
