Salary: £27,405 - £28,611

Hours: 35 per week

Location: Lower Polmaise, Stirling

Stirling Council aims to provide the residents of the Stirling area with a reliable waste collection service. As a Waste Loader, you will provide an invaluable service to the residents of the Stirling area, ensuring that their waste is collected on a regular basis. Your role will require you to collect waste and load it into a collection vehicle on a specified route, you will uplift various types of waste, assist the drivers with the manoeuvring of the vehicle and any other tasks required by the service.

You will be required to comply with the safe systems of work for refuse collection. You will also be required to clean & deliver bins throughout the Stirling area.

To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and be prepared to walk 10 - 15 miles per day carrying heavy loads over rough ground in all weathers. You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours.

This is an opportunity for you to provide a vital service to the community by ensuring that all waste is removed leaving a clean and tidy environment.
