Waste Operative
A quick look at the role.
Help us make a difference as a Waste Operative based at Bracknell, Berkshire. The Waste Operator will be Operating machinery which include Forklift, Llop, Counter balances, Compactor and Balers. The Waste Operative will effectively and efficiently process waste whilst ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to. Each material is to be processed as per the guidelines and all data to be captured and recorded accurately.
Hours and Pay
48 hours per week
Monday-Saturday 6am-2pm
£13.60 per hour (annual salary £31,824)
Overtime may be available with a 50p per hour uplift
Your core responsibilities.
- Process and sort incoming waste into the correct streams safely and efficiently.
- Accurately capture and record all operational data as required.
- Operate site machinery including forklifts, LLops, counterbalance trucks, compactors and balers.
- Follow all Health & Safety, PPE, site and company procedures at all times.
- Report accidents, near misses, incidents and operational issues promptly to management.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, customer care and positive workplace safety culture.
