Waste & Removal Team Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Waste & Removal Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect, transport, and dispose of unwanted goods, furniture, metals, catering equipment, refrigeration units, and other items no longer needed. Occasionally, you may be required to move equipment between locations.

This position involves driving a Luton van (standard driving license required) and performing manual handling tasks. Flexibility is essential, as the role may include early starts, late finishes, occasional overtime, and overnight stays when traveling long distances.

Please note this is a 6 Month FTC.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate a Luton van to collect and remove unwanted items from various locations.
  • Transport goods for disposal or relocation as instructed.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling and securing loads during transit.
  • Dispose of waste in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and disposals.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
  • Always adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
