Are you passionate about sustainability and making a real difference in your community?
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Waste & Resource Officer to help shape the future of waste and recycling services across Stirling. This is an opportunity to lead projects, work with communities and partners, and help deliver environmental improvements that support a cleaner, greener Stirling.
What you'll do:
- Lead and support waste and recycling projects.
- Work with residents, businesses, community groups and partner organisations.
- Deliver education and awareness campaigns that encourage positive behaviour change.
- Analyse service data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the delivery of local and national waste strategies.
- Respond to enquiries and provide expert advice on waste and recycling matters.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in waste management, environmental services or a related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of waste and resource management issues and legislation.
- Good IT skills and a full UK driving licence.
