Role Description
The Watchmaker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Buckhurst Hill. The Watchmaker will perform routine and complex servicing, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of luxury watches and clocks, ensuring optimal performance and presentation. Daily tasks include:

- Diagnosing mechanical and technical issues
- Disassembling and reassembling movements
- Regulating timekeeping
- Replacing parts
- Performing cleaning and polishing as required

The role involves conducting thorough quality checks, preparing service documentation, and collaborating with sales and customer service teams to provide accurate technical information. The Watchmaker will help maintain an organized workshop, adhere to safety and brand standards, and support the presentation of high-value inventory.
Qualifications
- Expertise in watch repair and servicing for mechanical and quartz watches, with strong hands-on skills related to watches.
- Experience working with clocks, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of various clock mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quality control, maintaining a high level of accuracy in all repair and assembly work.
- Formal training or certification in horology or watchmaking, or equivalent professional experience in luxury watch service.
- Proficiency using watchmaking tools, equipment, and measuring instruments in a workshop environment.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work on small components for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work constructively with sales and customer service teams.
- Integrity and discretion when handling high-value items, with a commitment to maintaining company and client confidentiality.
