Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is recruiting for a reliable and driven Water Hygiene Engineer for their team in the South East of England. The company is a growing and successful outfit, who specialise in Water Hygiene / Water Treatment. There are countless routes for further training within the industry, as our client is known for upskilling and promoting across their team. It would be advantageous to be based near to major routes, including: M4 and / or M25, as you will be covering sites across this region. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: fleet vehicle, overtime opportunities, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

You will be travelling across: Reading, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Camberley, Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Southall, Watford, High Wycombe, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Croydon, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Bromley, Windsor, Beaconsfield, Harrow, Wembley, Potters Bar, Aylesbury, Crawley, East Grinstead, Orpington, Horsham, Sidcup, Bexleyheath.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
  • Proven industry knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 legislation
  • Experience working across a range of client sites
  • Flexible to travel in line with company needs
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Hardworking attitude

The Role:

  • Performing pre-planned Water Hygiene duties across commercial, public sector and local authority premises
  • TMV servicing and maintenance
  • Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tank
  • Showerhead disinfections
  • Calorifier inspections
  • Water sampling
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Updating logbooks
  • Working independently and within teams
