Location: South-East Wales/Gloucestershire

Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum + OTE + Double Rate Overtime

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

About the Role:

We are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer (which internally is known as a Critical Maintenance Engineer) to join our team, based within the GL postcode area, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and water hygiene services across customer sites in the local area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience in water hygiene, plumbing, facilities, maintenance or another relevant technical environment, as well as candidates with limited water hygiene experience who are looking to develop their skills and build a career within the industry.

  • Completing routine flushing and water sampling
  • Taking and recording water temperatures
  • Carrying out routine checks on water systems

  • Accurately recording completed work using company systems
  • Working professionally on customer sites and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Following company health and safety procedures
  • Working in line with relevant water hygiene standards and guidance, including ACOP L8 and HSG274
  • Supporting the wider team with water hygiene and Legionella control activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
