Join our Team as a Water Hygiene, Heating & Hot Water Operative at Aspire Defence Services Limited

Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum plus company vehicle, tools provided, uniform etc

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location: Warminster

Your Role

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities on water hygiene, heating and hot water systems across the estate.
  • Undertake monitoring, sampling, testing, disinfection, interpretation of results and re-dosing activities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, environmental and safe systems of work requirements, including risk assessments, method statements and COSHH regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with planned and reactive maintenance teams while effectively managing daily workloads with minimal supervision.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks, record maintenance activities, report remedial works and ensure asset changes are accurately recorded.
  • Maintain high standards of productivity, workmanship and customer service while proactively identifying and reporting potential issues.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English. A full valid UK driving licence is essential and the successful candidate must be able to obtain security clearance.

Experience:

  • Experience working independently, managing workloads and undertaking maintenance activities is essential. Knowledge of water hygiene legislation, including ACOP L8 and HSG274, water system maintenance, sampling, testing and plumbing practices would be advantageous.
